Sometimes, out walking the countryside footpaths, you can come across a public sign warning that the path is closed for access. On this occasion, there was tree clearance in progress. This can be disappointing! I was only out for a short walk today anyway, so turning back was no problem.
I don't think it will be closed for long and it was quite in need of a clearance as I can remember a lot of overhanging trees along this route.
There was a lot of rain around today in the morning. The roads were flooded for a while. I hope this is not a sign of a soggy autumn to come!
