I was assigned a catering job at Heathrow Airport today. This involves a trip along the M25 motorway to get there. A journey that is very unpredictable at the best of times.
We load up at our Gatwick unit, travel to Heathrow and wait for the inbound flight to arrive. We get there with several hours to spare, so the first stop is the staff canteen! 😂.
This is an evening flight so once we have finished, we set off back to Gatwick again. Arriving back shortly before our normal finishing time. Another successful job done.
