My Actifit Report Card: March 24 2023

Totems!

That's the theme of this @actifit report. Also satisfying a promise to @silvertop.

I visited the popular Buchan Park today for a walk. I was intending to cycle but a heavy rain shower put a stop to that. ☔

There are many totems and other wooden carvings around the park. Some of them mark out a trail to follow.

This park is a good place to take a short mountain bike ride. Sometimes a starting point for a longer ride connecting other parks and forests.

The park has a car park so it is convenient for anyone but is very popular with dog owners. The parks shop and information centre has not reopened since the Covid pandemic sadly, and not currently any sign of that in the near future.

I noticed a primrose plant which was in full bloom. A pleasant sight which surprised me and a reminder that time flies by so quickly. It won't be long before mid summer!

Nice photos but a shame the rain put off the cycling.

I see a lot of places never opened again after Covid. Such a shame.
