Hey dear actifitters and readers,
it was a great day! My partner had her defence of her dissertation and this project, which took several years, finally came to a successful end. 😍
The talk was scheduled for 5:30 pm. We had the whole day for the preparation. The presentation was ready since yesterday. 😅
I bought some drinks for the party afterwards. It was the first time I bought champagne in my whole life. 😎
I took her by car to the university and delivered food and drinks to the party room.
I went home afterwards, put decent clothes on and walked back to the uni.
It took me about 25 min.
As I arrived her colleagues already had installed the beamer and opened the zoom conference.
I got some glasses with water to put it in the tables. I thought its a good idea to deal with dry mouth and having a good reason for a break while answering questions. And indeed it helped.
Her presentation was brilliant! And her doctors hat amazing. Her colleagues put so many love and effort in the design. 😍
Our rooftop party last until midnight. I invited some friends to join the celebration, we had a wonderful time together.
Finally we went to a bar for another beer and a schnapps 😀 it was 1:30am when we arrived at home. Totally tired and absolutely happy.
