Sardegna trip 2024 - Day 6

in Actifit14 days ago

Hey dear actifitters and readers,

we had a stormy and rainy night and woke up several times by thunder and lightning. Luckily there were only clouds in the morning and no rain.

I didn't mention until now that our first week is a kind of low budget trip. We're on the island by car and use to sleep in the car at places we like or find safe to stay.

After waking up we used the next our to go for a walk to Li Cossi beach.

It was a very nice short hike with many beautiful shaped rocks at the path.

And found a very nice beach at the end. Obviously the bar was closed due to the time of our visit and the bad weather.

Back at the car I had my daily cappuccino with a nice view.

The coffee was finished and we continued our trip to visit Castelsardo.

Which is a colourful little town with a castle on top of the hill and many wonderful narrow streets.

It was a very nice stay here. We went for an ice cream and an aperol spriz before we left.

We planned to stay the next night in Alghero at the West Coast to have another nice sunset in the evening.

We made a stop at an abandoned concrete factory near Sassari and visited the place. I'm hoping to do another post about this place when I'm back home.

Here only a few impressions.

And finally we reached Alghero right before sunset.

Before going to bed we went to town for pizza and a short walk through town.

Wow you do get to visit such interesting places. I must admit your trip does not appear to be a budget one. I suppose one can plan DIY trips that are more affordable than simply relying on tour agencies. Love the beaches you get to enjoy. Have more fun vacation days!
