As a family, we’ve faced some challenges recently, especially with our daughter now needing a wheelchair while awaiting further medical examination. It’s an adjustment for all of us, but I wanted to create a space for comfort and joy amidst the changes. We took a family weekend to the coast—a place she loves. Despite needing the wheelchair most of the time, she enjoyed the breeze, the sights, and the moments spent together.
We walked (and rolled) 16,000 steps, capturing photos and memories that remind us of resilience and love. We’re learning, as we adapt to new circumstances, that joy can still be found in places we love, surrounded by people who care.
For anyone going through a tough time—hold onto the places that make you feel alive, and the people that bring warmth to your days. Sometimes the comfort we need is as simple as a seaside walk.
