Social Battery Low
Today was tough in the physical world I will often find my social battery getting low.
It is not that I don't want to be around people it is that I do not have the ability in me to deal with them.
I am not a person that engages in chit chat generally I just don't see the point in it.
I can just about cope with passing politeness you know "Hi, isn't it a nice day" and all that jazz.
I generally give people a nod and a smile, if I don't know you thats all that is needed.
But some people see this as an invite to tell me all kinds of stuff I am just not interested in.
Why tell me write a blog or journal?
Then I may take an interest 🤣 assuming its on Hive.
Or get therapy
I try and be polite smile and nod like I have any clue what they are talking about cause I don't know the people they mention. My brothers friends cousin is in the hospital again they think its bad "some horrible description about this person i don't know and hopefully never meet" I know to much about them.
Sometimes I get trapped cause I am not sure what to do or say.
A few years ago I would have just said "sorry but this conversation doesn't interest me and I'm busy doing stuff right now."
But my wife said it's rude if people are telling you something to say your not interested before they are finished telling you or after.
I told some people before they had a chance to start in any details.
But this explains why she is late for everything 🤣
There's such a thing as inappropriately over sharing and people should be told and stopped. I have a day to complete and how will they learn otherwise.🤣
I know sometimes I can come across as rude but time is valuable and I don't like chit chat especially with strangers.
Just makes me feel heavy and brings me down when you hear negative stories and complaints i can't fix.
Pointless
Its a sunny day be thankful to be alive.
