It was a bit cooler again today, and while I was on my first shift driving the kids to school, it started to rain.
By the time I was home, it had settled down to a persistent drizzle. It wasn't the sort of weather to inspire me to go for a walk, so I decided to try for a run. I hadn't intended running until the weekend as I'm still recovering from my operation, but I was feeling OK, so what the hell.
I did a fairly easy 9km along to Saltford and back and was still feeling OK when I got home. Just rather damp from the drizzle. I'm really happy with that, and as long I keep feeling good through tomorrow, I'll consider myself fully recovered.
As it was raining / drizzling throughout my run, I didn't take any pictures during it. Today's pictures are, therefore, all of the goings on in my garden this afternoon taken through my living room window.
It was fairly windy, so taking the shots of the bees was difficult. I deleted a lot of completely duff, blurry shots.
And the Robin is still around, popping into the garden every now and then to collect some seeds before zooming off again.
Thank you for reading, and I'll be back tomorrow.
