A thin sliver of gold. The day was mostly grey and occasionally rainy, but sometime during the afternoon the sun came out for an hour or two.
I took the car into the forest and spent some time by the lake and walked a full circle around it. It's a weirdly melancholic feeling to consider just a week ago we went swimming and frolicking in the water here.
