Flying Dragon: Thursday August 15 2024

in Actifit3 months ago (edited)

The heatwave still lingers. It didn't rain yesterday and so the uncomfortable humidity has mostly evaporated in the heat.

I cycled out to the lake again to enjoy the cooler air in the forest and to take a quick swim. Despite the heat, there weren't too many other people at the lake today, which made the experience even nicer.

So calm, the dragonflies would dare to take a rest right at the lakeside, just for me to take a picture. Main-character-vibes.

Thanks for your time!

Dragonflies are much nicer than horseflies XD

hehehe... true!

how's that bite doing today?!

I also had an encounter with a nice insect today, it was a butterfly that landed three times on my shoulder. I had my left hand open for her to come, but it chose my hand which was holding the phone so I could not take a photo 😂 Clever butterfly lol

Later, it landed on my mom's shoulder. I will try tomorrow at the same place and same time, I hope it will be around again

the bite from yesterday - almost the same "fat" as yesterday 😤 (except it is not itchy anymore)

🦋 nice! good luck tomorrow then... both for the butterfly encounter and the bite getting better, of course.

The lake has horseflies, too. But so far I have managed to avoid getting bitten by one. The horseflies that tried weren't as lucky, though. I converted them to fish-food.
