It has been two days of intense academic work and today, the last day of my stay, I decided to take advantage of the couple of hours to take in some interesting sights.
The View at the Palm is in The View at the Palm is located in a skyscraper on the 54th floor, the lift is high-speed, and you're up in half a minute. 360 degrees and stunning views of Palm Island, Atlantis, Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah.
What was surprising was that there's not the crush that there is on the 124th floor, the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa. There were a lot of people here, but on the observation deck itself everyone somehow dispersed in a circle, and you could calmly approach the glass from any side, take a photo or just admire Dubai.
