Greetings!
I was awake until midnight last night because I needed to finish some work before going to bed. I wasn't alone; I was enjoying a singing program on the radio, one of my favorite programs. Along the way, someone called in to sing a song I knew from beginning to end: "INFINITY" by Wizboyy.
I was excited and sang along with the caller on the radio. The whole experience brought back loads of memories, and I was surprised to see myself sing so accurately from A to Z without a mistake. This is a song that was released 12 years ago (2012), and back then, it was a big hit. I don't know if the song was popular in every corner of Nigeria as it was in my neighborhood, because the song has a little bit of Igbo, which I understand to some extent and can easily relate to.
About the Song (Lyrics):
The lyrics is a very nice one, with wishful and sensible words. It's one song that doesn't center on love or women, as we usually see in 90% of songs in Nigeria. This song is a prayer and a wish to live a life full of enjoyment and less hustling.
🎶"I no go hustle till infinity"🎶
🎶"But I will bubble till infinity"🎶

This means; I won't hustle for eternity, but I'll enjoy life till infinity. That is to say, the person will enjoy life until the world ends or when the person leaves the earth.
I won't lie, that's my wish in life: do a little(or nothing) and achieve a massive breakthrough and enjoy that until I'm tired of this earth.
There are a lot of people in this category already, especially people born with a silver spoon. They are not doing much or anything at all, and they're having the life they wish for. They're eating anything they like, traveling to places in a flash, going on vacation on the moon.
While there are people also working day and night with nothing to show for it, especially now in my country where the cost of living is very high. You work and work only to use all the money you've earned to buy just food, and in the end, the food doesn't last for long.
A normal human being wouldn't choose to live a life of suffering. Gone are the days when people categorized suffering as a proof of being holy, according to religious people. Now, everyone wants to live big, including me.
Or do you want to suffer?? Answer me. Lol
This song, apart from the meaningful lyrics, has a well-organized beat and rhythm. It's a party song, and it gives a special push to stand up and dance whenever it's played at a party. People like me, we will dance with our heads instead. Lol😂
It was done by Wizboyy and Slim Brown. It's unfortunate that we no longer hear these artists' songs nowadays...they've faded away.
Thanks for reading.
