Llevaba tiempo buscando esta foto tan especial de mi hijo, que comparto hoy, porque la quería publicar el día de su cumpleaños, que fue recientemente, y anoche revisando todos los registros digitales, por fin la encontré. Esta imagen data de hace 33 años, cuando mi bebé recién cumplía su primer añito, y su abuelo paterno que lo tenía muy consentido, no desaprovechaba ninguna ocasión para capturar una foto de él. Me las vino enviando muchos años después.

La foto fue tomada en la casa de los abuelos paternos, y él siempre se colaba en la habitación de ellos y salía con alguna cosita en la mano como que si fuera el juguetito más preciado. En esta foto viene muy contento rumbo a la cocina con un peine en la mano, y ya el abuelo lo esperaba para darle un abrazo y consentirlo, pero primero tomó esta foto que quedó para el registro de nuestros más lindos recuerdos de su infancia.

I had been looking for this very special photo of my son for some time, which I am sharing today, because I wanted to publish it on his birthday, which was recently, and last night I finally found it while going through all the digital records. This image dates from 33 years ago, when my baby was just turning one year old, and his paternal grandfather, who had him very spoiled, did not miss any occasion to capture a photo of him. He sent them to me many years later.

The photo was taken at his paternal grandparents' house, and he would always sneak into their room and come out with some little thing in his hand as if it were the most precious toy. In this picture he is very happy on his way to the kitchen with a comb in his hand, and his grandfather was already waiting for him to give him a hug and spoil him, but first he took this picture that will remain as a record of our fondest memories of his childhood.

Cada foto de mis hijos tiene una historia, un momento especial, un evento, un sitio maravilloso, y un grupo de gente hermosa que los rodeaba de amor, por eso siempre estas imágenes van a formar parte de los más bellos recuerdos evocados a lo largo de mi vida.

Recuerdo que el día que tomaron esta foto, fue un domingo, y se acostumbraba a hacer una reunión familiar en la casa de los abuelos con sus hijos y nietos, y mi nene era el más pequeño de la familia en ese momento. Todos los primitos y tíos lo tenían igualmente consentido, y andaba de brazo en brazo. También recuerdo que apenas tenía unos días de aprender a caminar solito sin la andadera y andábamos a la expectativa de sus pasitos ligeros por toda la casa.

Each photo of my children has a story, a special moment, an event, a wonderful place, and a group of beautiful people that surrounded them with love, that is why these images will always be part of the most beautiful memories evoked throughout my life.

I remember that the day this picture was taken, it was a Sunday, and it was customary to have a family reunion at the grandparents' house with their children and grandchildren, and my baby was the youngest of the family at that time. All the little cousins and aunts and uncles were equally spoiled, and he was walking arm in arm. I also remember that he was just a few days old when he was learning to walk on his own without the walker and we were waiting for his light steps all over the house.
