Hello There
It's been almost two weeks since my last #terracore update. I want to make some upgrades on my defense, however I think this is a good opportunity to share my opinion on how we can detect some needs on higher damage on our build.
You see, It's been 12 days since any upgrade and that makes me suffer 2 points on damage attribute. My damage is 290, deducte by 2 points which means 20 damage point, it will be 270 damage.
And when I see this interface, I know I need to push up my damage as soon as possible. There are two indicators that tell me why I need to do this soon. The first one is DEFENSE, and the Second one is STASH. I make a coloring box below so you could see it better.
Target Defenses
My attack is on 270 point at the moment due to 12 days no upgrade pinalty. This should give me targets around 260-269 on the top list, and those people should be my top target. However I see my top 4 targets have 240 defense, and only 1 target has 260 defense, Zoltarian. So if I do not do anything soon, I will be losing more fatties.
Target Stashes
This is the yellow box one on the right. We need to aware how many rob-able stash our targets usually have. Mine usually a bunch of 40-50 $Scraps holders. This time I am seeing people below 40 stashes, except for that Zoltarian again. So the number has dropped significantly, more than 20%.
Why Does This happen?
Eventually there are two things that will happen regardless whatever we do in the game.
- People upgrading their accounts
- People retire or leave this game
We can not fight this two things because those are not variables we can control. However our account should adapt to that condition. When you are losing some targets, maybe some of them are retired, nothing you can do about that.
However those are not only about retired accounts. The other is other accounts upgrading their attributes. This could be your target outgrew your damage, so they are no longer in your target list anymore or... Some smaller accounts upgrade themselves and become you competitors in robbing on same zone.
When this happens, you only have two option, increase your damage so your weekly raid or robs won't drop a lot, or you just take the lost and try to compensate with increasing more Defense and Engineering... which from my point of view, this won't happen if you do not top up or buying $SCRAP from the market.
I decide to take the first one, upgrading my damage. how about you? Do you think this is a wise move? please leave any comment below
MY UPGRADES
My previous plan was about increasing my Engineering point and some defense, however due to this lack of targets situation, I need to push Damage again... without changing the defense built.
So this is my revised plan for the upgrades:

I just made 3.986 $SCRAP burn to make these upgrade and this is how I look right now:
2 points each on Damage and Defense, I think this is the best move I could do this round. I could do 1 damage, 2 defense and 1 engineering upgrades, however I decided to make 2 damage points upgrade because I want to see my hit list change first.
And they change a bit after the second damage upgrade. I hope tomorrow the hit list will get better and I will see more 50+ stash target there.

NEWBIE TIPS ON BUILT:
1. Focus on your built. There is no right or wrong, or the best build for this game. Everything depends on how you play the game, how often you are playing Terracore, preference in mining over attacking and many more.
2. Always have your defense level higher than your engineering level. Some said it should be at least 3 level higher, but trust me... there is no absolute formula in this game, so how many level it should be higher, all depends on how you play this game
3. Do not do upgrade frenzy... always plan well, save some for next week upgrades so you won't get penalized from being idle without upgrade.
THE RUMBLE
I lose more $scrap than ever based on percentage. Losing 56% is ridiculous but it indicates that more and more players capable to rob me than I improve my defense. As I have said before, there will always be more people out here to rob us.
This time Rosewalks steals the top robbers position from Cryptounicorn420. I think my previous top robber: Cryptounicorn420 and PSNCHZ could not rob me well again. I will list those top robbers incase one day I have some intention to make a revenge there
NEWBIE TIPS ON BUILT:
1. Winning the battles are great however getting more $SCRAP from battles doen't make you get more scrap in overall. There are players who lose battles badly but in daily they are making tonnes of $SCRAPS due to high engineering level. So all be back on what your goal is, winning the brawls or minting the SCRAP.
