It's been more than a week from my last #terracore update, which is the time of my upgrade too. I have been trying to play better, although not at the level of intensity which I have thought I could reach at, but still... yeah I could play better for the last running week.
Ok now we arrive on the subject we have for today post... WHY I HAVEN'T GOT ANY EQUIPMENT
The reasons are simple
First my RNG is BAD
I am doing some quests and bosses/planets to get some NFT(s). In terracore, NFT(s) = equipment, but I haven't got my luck yet.
You can see above about my last Quest performance. I even failed when the success rate was 94%... I do not know whether it was a bad luck or good luck, because I got that 6% chance that round.
One thing for sure, this is the biggest reason why I haven't got NFT until today.
Second, My Account is Still Small
One answer or excuse should not be enough, so here is my second one... My account is still small.
For a Quest, we need 2 flux and 2 flux is sold at 6.159 $SCRAP right now. This number will change following the market price and it's fluctuation. With that amount of $SCRAP, I can do many upgrade on my account.
Things will be different if my account has grown big and any single upgrade will cost me massive $SCRAP.
This is the reason why I do not aggressively purchase $FLUX until today, because I do not feel that it is a necessity on current condition.
MY UPGRADES
It's exactly what happened like in the last update, 9 days of no upgrade. I guess my current timeline is about updating every 9 days. I hope I could improve more on this part.
Ok now for the upgrades, I will stick with what I have planned before... Which is shifting build from all rounder to a more defensive type.
So this is my plan for the upgrades:

I just made 3.254 $SCRAP burn to make these upgrade and this is how I look right now:
It gives an awkward feeling on this upgrade regarding this is the first upgrade I do without improving my Engineering. I have to focus on basic battle attribute so my weekly $SCRAP from robbing is increasing and lose less from getting raids.
I have started to shift my built from a balance one to a more defensive built. Right now my defense is only 20 point stronger than my offense or damage, so it doesn't look like a defensive built... YET
I know this might look that I still focus on a balance build, however on long run, or let say on the next update, I will only upgrade Engineering and Defense, unless I do not get more $SCRAP that I have expected from today upgrades... if that what happens, I will have to push more Damage and Defense again

NEWBIE TIPS ON BUILT:
1. Focus on your built. There is no right or wrong, or the best build for this game. Everything depends on how you play the game, how often you are playing Terracore, preference in mining over attacking and many more.
2. Always have your defense level higher than your engineering level. Some said it should be at least 3 level higher, but trust me... there is no absolute formula in this game, so how many level it should be higher, all depends on how you play this game
3. Do not do upgrade frenzy... always plan well, save some for next week upgrades so you won't get penalized from being idle without upgrade.
THE RUMBLE
I still losing more $SCRAP from the battlefields. People love to rob me, because I have good Engineering and my defense is not great. Eventhough I do not play intensively, I know I have improved a lot from previous update.
This is the main reason why I think I should push up more on my battle attribute, which is Damage and Defense.
PSNCHZ is the guy who rob most from my stash. I think I will see him gone from the list, regarding I have upgraded my Defense more than his Damage. Will I see another user becoming frequent robber of my stash again? we could only know next week...
NEWBIE TIPS ON BUILT:
1. Winning the battles are great however getting more $SCRAP from battles doen't make you get more scrap in overall. There are players who lose battles badly but in daily they are making tonnes of $SCRAPS due to high engineering level. So all be back on what your goal is, winning the brawls or minting the SCRAP.
