It's been more than a month since my last #WOO post. Right now we have the new Zealy run event, the first one in 2024. Of course as one of WOO GAME enthusiast, I feel bitter if I do not take part on this Zealy Event. Anyway for further detail about this WOO ZEALY event, you can check our official announcement here:

A bit similar with all my previous WOO post, I always say things about making profit or earning something from #WOO. Well its not something that is taboo in #play2earn world, and it's not something that too materialistic for a WEB 3 topic either, so yeah, lets start by where I am now while making this post.
Right now I have 15K $WOO staked on my wallet. I know this number has dropped alot regarding I have been unstaking most of it to upgrade my WOO lands and my WOO Organization. My land has already got max upgrades, but they are in progress right now. Damn it is a very long process for the final upgrade.
My organization has not got maxed yet, but I am doing it right now. I hope I could get them finished to the max this month too.
EARNING $WOO RESOLVED AROUND HP DELEGATION
If I cut my first screenshot and focus on part of it, we can see that there are two main ways to generate $WOO, from STAKING REWARDS and HP DELEGATION REWARDS. There is another approach too, from Liquidity Pools (LP) but LP is not a fix one because there is a risk there called impermanent loss. I will share about LP some other time, but let focus on the main way first.
If I have to choose which one is better, my pick will be HP Delegation. It's simple, the frist thing is that STAKING REWARDS demands you to have some staking first. So it's like an earning of interest based saving. You must invest or make a saving first before you get the interest or earning fee.
How about HP DELEGATION? basically it looks the same but the concept is not. You do not have to invest anything first, Hive Power (HP) or staked Hive is not something that you invest in this game. It is what you have on this Blockchain. So it is way better from my perspective and here are my opinions for this:
- If you curate post your self, the best result you might get is around 10% APR. I have seen a few account having more than 10% of Curation rewards, however lets be honest here. Most people only get 6-8% only. Personally I do not endorse getting highest APR from curation, because it might make you curate the post which are lucky or well engineered rather than post that actually deserve appreciation.
Anyway, right now HP DELEGATION to WOO gives you 16%, which means it gives double amount if you do manual curation using your HP. Definitely this is a win win solution if you are aiming to have high asset return on Hive Blockchain. However this is not the highest one, but of course one of a great options to be considered. - BETTER WITHDRAWAL If. you curate posts on HIVE, what do you get? HP too, the staked HIVE which you need around 12 months to make all unstaked. Staked WOO only needs 28 days, or 4 weeks. That's 3 times faster, it is easier to liquidate staked WOO than HIVE POWER. So by having HP DELEGATION is similar to having an investment with better withdrawal liquidity.
It is not only about timing and liquidity, it is about the risk too. During those period when your asset is locked, you bear some risk such as price changes. For the ecosystem this is good, because every stakeholders bear the risk making the project has less risk. But from personal POV, this is what every investor dislike... any type of RISK.
Anyway because this post is about HP Delegation to WOO as good way of earning $WOO... similar or let say bluntly this is an investment strategy, I must remind you all that all of these are not a valid Financial Advise. so don't swallow whole of my words here as a financial advise.
