What do we really need? - Balance maybe?

Namaste!

Once again I would like to quote a beautiful song and tell you what I like most about rain, sunshine, open blue sky, clouds, etc.

Well, the artist name is Passenger and Song is 'Let Her Go...'

If you have ever heard this song and understood the depth of the meaning of its lyrics (its not only about her but all your life), then you will understand what I love the most between all of them.

Ah, now let me tell you why I'm making this reference..

At the beginning of this year, when it was the peak of winter in January, we did not even get to see the the sun for multiple days, In those days everyone here dreamed of bathing in the warmth of the sun. Then from February itself, winter disappeared like the promises of leaders disappear after winning the elections. 😅 And frankly, within 15-20 days it started feeling as if God was punishing us.

Here let me give you the weather condition of the capital state of India. Here the temperature goes to 1 degree Celsius in winter and up to 50 degree Celsius in summer. And despite being born in this city, till date I myself have not been able to adapt to this huge upside down change in weather.

Then for the next 6 months till about the first week of July, there was a record level of scorching heat here, at that time not only me but everyone here including the nature itself was in great need of rain. The sunshine for which we once yearning, we no longer wanted it.

Then for the last 2 weeks we enjoyed the rains a lot, but in between, dams broke, cities and villages got submerged, and people are still struggling with floods at many areas. So now we don't even need the rain we once desperately needed.

So what do we need now?

Well maybe just lovely cool breeze and a few clouds in the sky so that the weather remains moist and cool and no one faces any problem?

But suppose for a few more weeks, till August and September, when the same clouds will remain in the sky, clothes will not dry, and everything will feel wet all the time, then we will get irritated and again say, God, enough is enough, give us back some sunshine.

There is no right or wrong here, what we need is Balance. But after tampering with the balance of nature so much, we no longer have any right to expect balance from nature.

It may sound a little bitter but it is the truth!
