Hi there! Welcome back to my post! I hope that you are doing great. In this post, I shared a few photographs of the Ibri Police station. I went there to renew my car registration.
We have to renew our car registration yearly in Oman. If a car model is less than 10 years old and there is no accident report, it can be renewed online upon renewing the insurance first. However, cars older than 10 years must be inspected physically by an expert in the police department's "Vehicle Inspection Department". My Nissan Tiida is of 2011 model. Hence I needed to take my car to the police department.
I went there on the 25th of August. It passed the fitness test. However, the bonnet of the car was discolored due to extreme heat. I thought it wouldn't be an issue. But I was wrong. The police deferred the registration asking me to paint the part of the car and return to the police station within 3 weeks.

So, I painted the bonnet costing 20 OMR, and returned to the police station on the 29th of August.

I met the same police. He just looked at my car from a distance (believed my word :)) and gave me the pass! I went inside the service center and got my new car card within 10 minutes. It cost me 28 OMR to renew the registration for one year!
