at first I thought the swans were frozen in the fresh ice on the lake

If that would have been the case I think it would have been the first time, doesn't it? I've never seen frozen swans but at the taxidermist 😂 ... if I was there you would have seen a frozen drakernoise instead 🤣

Your shots as always are amazing but you live in a beautiful place where you're gifted with beautiful (frozen) views so I will congratulate your close nature too hahaha.

I am not sure but I think I remember reading news about frozen swans a while ago. If it's right, then they must have slept too deep and didn't notice the fast growing ice.
