Its almost 4 days has been passed for current season of Splinterlands. In last season I was able to achieve Champion league and in this season also I am expecting to reach same league. When the season start I notice one change in wild format of game. Till now for any format players were free to enter the battlefield but form now onwards season the players has to pay an entry fee in the form of wild pass. The purchase can be done by clicking Get Wild Pass option on top right of the wild format page.
Wild Pass may be purchase with Vouchers, DEC, DEC-B or credits. At present the economic option among all is the by using the Vouchers. The 40 vouchers are required to make the purchase and the 40 Vouchers cost approximately $ 0.79 USD at present market rate of vouchers.
2000 DEC and credits required per wild pass. The credits cost $ 2 USD and DEC cost approximately $1.33 USD. The cost of wild pass is not much if payed with vouchers. This reasonable fee is looks ok for me and anyone would be fine to pay. I am checking one X post which shows that their are good reduction in number of players in wild format as compare to the last season.
The wild pass requirement give the use case for the different tokens in game, specially the vouchers. This also restrict the number of players in wild format. From current season onwards the players need to purchase the wild pass if they want to play in the wild format, the modern format do not required any entry pass and their is nothing change for the players in modern format. The wild pass purchased will be valid for the one season only, so the pass purchased once will be over the moment the season ends.
Current Game Play SPS Boost
At present I am battling in diamond league and will climb up to the champion league before the season end. I have staked more then 100K SPS which gives me the 5.86X boost for the earing form the ranked battle play. I am receiving approximately 312 Glint points for every battle win. Their are other factor also which effect the glint earnign form battle play but the SPS staking are the major which effect the same more.
In my case the Guild bonus give me 12% boost and the title gives 5% boost, which cumulatively gives the 5.78X reward earning. The SPS price is low which is good opportunity to increase the stake.
I am following the reinvestment strategy to increase my SPS stake so no more purchase form the market form last couple of weeks. I will continue will my reinvestment strategy for SPS. No doubt the SPS plays a major role in game as a governance token as well as it helps to increase the reward earnign by increasing the boost factor in game.
Its start of the season and still we has enough time to plan strategy and climb the ranking. I really like this fun game which gives the earning opportunities also. Upgrading the cards and accumulating the SPS is the main strategy for now. Their is no change in the land production and the cards allocated on different plots. I still has some plots free but because do not have sufficient cards to place on plots those cards are ideal for now.
