I love pigs and that is why I wanted to have one of them.
Finally Ours
A few weeks ago, I posted about the piglets we purchased from my cousin but we still cannot have because the were not weaned yet and still needed their mother's love, care and guidance.

After a few weeks of patiently waiting, the piglets were weaned and my husband came to their house on the farm to get the piglets and brought it to my in-law's house for safe keeping. My father in law says he knows a lot about pigs and so we let him. My husband and I are still so busy to take care of the pigs.
He was worried at first on where to get the money for feeds but we assured him that we will be providing them and all he would do is to look after them and make sure they are well fed and will always have access to drinking water.
Here are they on my last visit on Sunday
The Surprise
We only bought two piglets on my cousin but now we had three! The husband aand I had long wished to have piglets and one of his co-workers had a pregnant sow and asked his other co-workers to pay in advance to get some piglets and he paid ten dollars yet when the sow farrowed, there were only fewer piglets than those who promised and told us to wait for another farrow yet it felt too long and I started nagging and just when I felt like giving up about it, the husband informed me that the pgigllets were about to be weaned and we will have them on the first day of March.
So Blessed
Being patient(though I was not really patient) has a reward; you see, the original plan was to have one pig and made it to sow so that the animals will multiply but God gave us two, and 1 Bonus!
That Saturday, We bought feeds for their supply I was planning on buying Mega Farm feeds for them which the company I was working for was making and feeding to their pig farm but the store was too far to buy; the fare was about two kilos of feeds so I stayed and bought on the feeds sold in our locality.
Images above taken when I bought the feeds for the pigs on the local store tat SUnday nad immediately brought it to my in-law's house.
Most of the feeds sold on the agrivet supply were milled on the feedmill I was working on ad I had access as to what had consist on the feed formulation and glad I found the one that seemed best on them.
On my way, I found my husband's family preparing the slaughtered chicken for his sister who just gave birth to her son. All of them were too busy and by the looks, they still didn't had breakfast at 8 in the morning.
The pigs looked so happy in the pigsty; there are lots of plants to munch on, a wide plase to play, and unlimited access to food and clean water. It took a while for the pigs to get along but they became best friends sooner than I expected them to be.
This is how the two first pigs looked on their first night of stay; they look anxious of being away for their family worried if something harm might happen to them.
I was hoping that they will grow up well and soon we will have our own sow and will be able to produce our own piglets and start a small pig farm soon in God's will.
I am really happy and grateful of what we had acquired and little by little, we will be able to have hat we prayed for. Pig business is good and will definitely help us financially, but not only us, our parents too.
The feeds had to be extracted from our budget but see it an investment ad we are ready to sacrifice for a while to get the goal.
Another thing that I am hopeful for was for the pigs to grow big enough for mine and my husband's mother's birthday. We planned to slaughter one of the pigs and will divide to the families we had in celebration to the woman who brought us forth in Earth and reared us to what we are today and unconditionally loved our children with all their hearts.
This will be all for my blog today, I id you all farewell for now. See you around.

May all our prayers be heard and come true.
