Yesterday, I shared about my daughters first day of school which happened on Monday and now, I'll be sharing about her second day of school.
not used on waking up early
On Tuesday, I woke my daughter up very early to prepare herself for school. We had left over rice that night before so all I did was give her warm drink and warm the rice.
Both my daughter and I are not used to waking up early and it is a huge challenge for both of us but we will try our best to be punctual through the school year. But what my daughter hates the most is that bathing with a very cold water. I don't know why but she hates cold be it water or air.
little body guard woke up early
My son woke up early too, he used to cuddle with me and his pillow is my arm, perhaps he felt I was nowhere in bed that is why he got up. I did not have another choice so I prepared him too so we both could bring eylii to school. Besides, I could use a loving little body guard with me to school.
20 minutes past 6 and the teacher was not around, the kids are already waiting outside as well as my daughter. Picture above are my my daughter's classmates outside their room. And oh, they were asked to bring water bottle for their restroom because they had to stock water for them to use. This is one of the challenges every public school has and is less addressed.
I looked at my phone to see the time, then decided to leave her to go home and prepare Laling to school.
Arriving home, I found my daughter and my husband still asleep, I hurried her to prepare and gave her breakfast but I received a call from eylii that she was sent home because she belonged to another section on the afternoon shift. I asked her to wait for me to get there after I send Laling to her room.
I told my husband about her being kicked out of her class and he asked me to beg the teacher to get her back in her class but I was shy. Eylii insisted she will be put to the afternoon shift but the husband insisted we should choose the morning shift to prepare her for the higher level.
I admit my daughter's new schedule is tiring, we only completed the first week but it has affected me so much. I usually get to bed at 9, and I realized I had been up more than 15 hours (from 5am to 9pm) and there was a time on Wednesday when my body had shut down. I mean my eyes voluntarily shut even if I was not yet in bed and my son just can't cooperate with me; he keeps asking me something and waking me up which resulted that I got stressed and lost my sleep and was still awake till 2am.
Anyway, my husband really wen to the daughter's teacher and successfully got her back in. We refused the new teacher because afternoon shift is risky for rain.
Eylii got back to her class the day after and was very happy she had. She said she likes her teachers and upgrade five is more fun then grade 4.
Her are some snaps of my little body guard that day
