Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!
It's the weekend... and that's a great thing for many, because it means taking some fun and relaxing time, but for me it means CATURDAY, my favorite day of the week!
Happy Caturday! I feel a nap coming on!
I think the Hoomans had hopes of working outside in their garden today, but we were greeted with a very gray and drizzly morning today.
Change of plans! Instead they went to work on their upcoming "event" they are attending next weekend. I saw the gray day mostly as an invitation to spend the day sleeping!

It's hard to believe we are already getting close to the end of April! I am happy about it, though, because it means (hopefully!) that warmer days are ahead. And we cats do love our warmth!
Smudge decided that the whole idea of sleeping through a rainy day was a good one, so she went back to sleep, as well.
Yes, that's really a CAT, not just a hairy rug!
Free Feral Cat Spay Day
Today — April 27th — is "Free Feral Cat Spay Day" here in our country.
It was an initiative started by vets to help keep the population of feral/wild cats from getting too large.
On this day, if you trap and bring a feral cat (or many) to the vet, they will spay/neuter the cat at no charge. A small "mark" is made on one ear as part of the process, to signify that such a street/wild living cat has already had the operation.
Of course, I'm just glad to be an indoor cat, in a safe place!

A Brief Sunbreak!
Late in the afternoon, right before we were going to publish this post, the sun suddenly came out, starting lots of activity!
We must make use of sunny spots, as best we can!

Not much of a "crypto update" this week. Bitcoin had its halvening, and not much happened, other than we are trending sideways to down a little.
Our own Hive token isn't doing much, either... and we're quite close to the lows for the year. Not much of an "altcoin rally," if you ask me!
Just give me some sun!
Not going to lose any sleep over it, though! I'm sure things will eventually turn around... and probably when we least expect it. Such is the way of this circus!
In the meantime, I am just continuing to build my little stake here... and that should work, as long as people still care about cats!
