Busy Week!

It has been a rather chaotic week around our corner of the world... at least from a cat's perspective!

The Hoomans had one set of guests visiting from another state for most of Thursday... I mostly kept to myself, although I did put in a brief appearance, for curiosity's sake! They seemed like OK Hoomans... but it takes me a while to get to trust new faces.

It's good to have "sheltered places" around the house!

Another set of Hooman friends arrived yesterday, but they are not actually staying with us.

I like these particular Hoomans... who also are "cat people" and they even caretakers of a little black cat of their own!

They are going to come over to our place this afternoon again and spend the evening... I'm actually looking forward to that!

Smudge

Smudge Health Update

To add to the chaos and unrest, our Smudge had been feeling unwell for a few days, not touching her food and having difficulty going to the litter box.

We were quite worried about her, but she didn't seem to be in pain or suffering, so we were afraid she might simply be nearing end-of-days.

Good news is that she seems to have "turned the corner" yesterday, and is a little perkier and eating and drinking again... and using the litter box.

Perhaps moving her beds and food and box to the cozy warmth of the laundry room was the change she needed to feel better.

We'll still be watching her for a couple of days before she can roam the house freely again!

Crypto-ish...

Don't know if there's much to be cheerful about, in the Cryptosphere.

Bitcoin seems to have found a new level, but our own Hive seems to just have faded from some minor enthusiasm at the turn of the year.

We're trying our best to be optimistic, and to just "keep building."

Do I see a bird?

I like to support our "homegrown" projects here in Hivelandia, and have been diverting a few cents from my post rewards towards the recently announced @holozing game, as well my older standbys Splinterlands and GenesisLeagueSports.

I like projects like these because they are actual use cases, not just endless "token hype."

Well, that's about it for our Caturday update! Time for me to retreat back to one of my cozy nooks and catch up on my naps before visiting Hoomans come in and disturb the peace!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
