This is a wonderful piece. It's definitely a personal experience with how we deal with stress. Plus, "first-time" things are especially complicated. The thinking and the learning and the doing. It's exhausting.
These are 3 things I do:
- I find exercise to be very helpful for me to get the positive hormones kicking around my brain.
- I chat it through with a trusted friend or colleague (depending on the scenario) who's unconditionally supportive.
- I switch gears to focus on something I can control that will yield success to remember how everything is temporary.
