I discovered yesterday this work while I was discovering County #Donegal in #ireland 😊 🇮🇪
I captured this #mural / #artwork yesterday on 10 September 2023 and found also, in the town’s center, a statue from him. Both tributes…

It states;
William Rory Gallagher 2 March 1948 – 14 June 1995) was an Irish guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is known for his virtuosic style of guitar playing, and is often referred to as "the greatest guitarist you've never heard of".
A number other guitarists, including Alex Lifeson of Rush, Brian May of Queen, and Eric Clapton, have cited Gallagher as an influence.

Close by capture… as you can see the blacks are not black here as the light was wrong…
So I decided to go further away until the black and white mural could be captured better.

A little bit later coming from our walk back… even more cars gathered… 🚗🚗 one still does see this mural / StreetArt popping out.
I love #blackandwhite works like this as they pop… even on cloudy days in Ireland 🇮🇪
When we walked through the center of this town we found a #statue from #rorygallagher
It is located on Main Street in Ballyshannon 🎸🎸🎸
