Hello, #splinterlands inhabitants. I want to tell you how I'm doing in the Modern format and a bit about the cards I've been able to level up, including some Gladius and Rebellion Rewards cards, as well as sharing with you a bit about two battles.
My performance in the Modern format
Ironically, when I first entered Splinterlands this year, my first battles were in this format, later on I moved to Wild, but now I'm back home.
At the start of the season, I have been fully participating, I have had 160 battles of which I have only won 84, although some I lost due to carelessness, not sending any formation to battle. The journey has been a bit challenging, starting in Bronze II and reaching Silver III, where I currently stand.
The battles are back and forth, I have had a good streak at times, only to end up losing 3 to 4 in a row. But I don't give up, I take a breather and continue the fight.
What I've accumulated in Glint is little compared to the previous season, but it doesn't discourage me, it's what I've earned with my effort and using what I have available. The 84 battles have allowed me to earn 15,846 Glint and 40.64 SPS, so far.
Reflecting on my early days, where I couldn't get out of Bronze II, battles have now become a bit easier for me, the learning over these months has paid off and I know I can improve even more.
Note: I clarify, Modern is a tough environment, there are imbalances for some battles, there are cases where I face opponents with maximized cards which leads to a certain defeat, and at the same time, I am careless in some battles.
Cards
In order to compete in the Silver league under good conditions, I need to level up the cards I own, gradually achieving this with the Glints and Merits earned. I will show you in parts which ones I have managed to level up.
Let's start with the common and rare Rebellion Rewards Soulbound cards which are the ones I am looking to level up first. Among the common ones, most are at level 3, only one is at level 4 and three are at level 2.
Among the rare cards, there are some that I really like, so I am looking to level them up quickly. Level 2 predominates in these, only one is at level 3. The ones I am most interested in reaching level 4 quickly are: Drybone Megaladon, Commander Slade, Quilliun Legionary, Meriput Slinger, Dark Arborist, and Dragon Egg Forager, their abilities and statistics would greatly help me when having them at that level.
Now, I will share the Gladius cards. First, the common ones, they range between levels 2 and 3, some that I usually use are close to reaching level 3 such as Chimney Wallstop, Katrelba Gobson, and Whistling Damon.
Most of the rare ones are at level 1, a few are at level 2. I want to level up Orella Abadon, Relenor Cleaver, Ajax Lightfoot, Captain Katie, and Liza Fox.
I grouped the epics and legendaries in this image, as I have few of them. I only have two epics at level 2, all others are at level 1. Any of these that I can level up would be advantageous. But it would be good to level up Fina Voxom and Quora.
Battles
I would like to finish by sharing with you, two battles where I used some of these cards after leveling them up.
Battle 1
In this close-quarters battle, where I planned to use Vruz in the second position to enhance Megaladon and Wallstop using his martyr ability, these two together would quickly eliminate or reduce the opponents in the front.
To defeat the remaining units, I had Herder and Forager, units with the opportunistic ability that would take out the weaker enemies. Tenyii and Vruz with the stealth ability would attack enemies in the back positions.
By leveling up Megalodon, I increased its power, Wallstop its speed, and Forager its life; that small boost allowed me to defeat the opponent more quickly.
Battle 2
In this battle, I noticed my opponent's tendency to use close-quarters units with the opportunistic or sneak ability, so I decided to take the risk and place decoy units, some with the martyr ability to empower my strongest cards. If they attacked with opportunistic, they would eliminate the weaker cards first, if there were units with sneak, they would defeat the last unit and the following Quilliun would gain power and had the thorns ability, which would return damage to them.
In the end, the battle unfolded with the attack of two opportunistic units from the opponent against the decoys, while Quora and Quilliun were defeating the enemy one by one.
Quilliun gained the thorns ability upon leveling up, allowing me to damage close-quarters enemies attacking it.

Hola, habitantes de #splinterlands. Quiero contarles como voy en el formato Moderno y un poco de las tarjetas que podido subir de nivel, entre las tarjetas están algunas Gladius y Rebellion Rewards, además de compartirles un poco dos batallas.
Mi desempeño en el formato Moderno
Aunque es irónico, cuando ingrese por primera vez a Splinterlands este año, las primeras batallas fueron en este formato, tiempo después pase a Wild, pero he vuelto a casa.

Regresando al recuerdo de mis inicios, donde no lograba salir de Bronce II, las batallas ahora se me han hecho un poco más fáciles, el aprendizaje de estos meses ha dado frutos y sé que puedo mejorar más.
Nota: Aclaro Moderno es un entorno pesado, hay desbalances para algunas batallas, se presentan casos de enfrentarme a oponentes con cartas al máximo y eso es derrota fija, y a la vez yo soy descuidado en algunas batallas.
Tarjetas
Al tener querer luchar en la liga Plata en buenas condiciones, necesito subir el nivel de las tarjetas que poseo, para ello poco a poco con los Glints y Meritos ganados lo voy consiguiendo. Les mostraré por partes cuáles he logrado subir de nivel.
Iniciemos con las tarjetas Rebellion Rewards Soulbound comunes y raras son las que estoy buscando subir de nivel primero. Entre las comunes se encuentran la mayoría en nivel 3, solo una en nivel 4 y tres en nivel 2.
Entre las tarjetas raras están algunas que me gustan mucho, por lo cual estoy buscando subirles el nivel rápido. Predomina en estas el nivel 2, solo una en nivel 3. Las que más me interesan que lleguen rápido al nivel 4 son: Drybone Megaladon, Commander Slade, Quilliun Legionary, Meriput Slinger, Dark Arborist y Dragon Egg Forager, entre sus habilidades y estadísticas, me ayudarían muchísimo al tenerlas en ese nivel.
Ahora, les compartiré las Gladius. Primero los comunes, se encuentran entre los niveles 2 y 3, algunas que suelo usar más están cerca de pasar al nivel 3 como Chimney Wallstop, Katrelba Gobson y Whistling Damon.
Las raras están la mayoría en nivel 1, unas pocas en nivel 2. Quiero subir de nivel a Orella Abadon, Relenor Cleaver, Ajax Lightfoot, Captain Katie y Liza Fox.
Agrupe las épicas y legendarias en esta imagen, ya que son pocos las que poseo. Solo tengo a dos épicas en nivel 2, todas las demás son nivel 1. En este grupo la que pueda subir de nivel me servirá. Pero sería bueno subir a Fina Voxom y Quora.
Batallas
Me gustaría terminar compartiendo con ustedes, dos batallas donde use algunas de estas cartas después de subirlas de nivel.
Batalla 1
En esta batalla cuerpo a cuerpo, donde planee usar Vruz en la segunda posición para potenciar usando su habilidad de mártir a Megaladon y Wallstop, en conjunto estas dos eliminar o reducir rápidamente los oponentes del frente.
Para derrotar a las demás unidades, contaba con Herder y Forager unidades con la habilidad oportunista que eliminarían a los enemigos más débiles. Tenyii y Vruz con la habilidad furtiva que atacarían a los enemigos en las últimas posiciones.
Al haber subido a Megalodon aumenté su poder, Wallstop su velocidad y a Forager su vida, ese pequeño aumento me permitió derrotar al rival más rápidamente.
Batalla 2
En esta batalla, observe la tendencia de mi rival a usar unidades cuerpo a cuerpo con la habilidad oportunista o sneak, decidí correr el riesgo y plantar unidades señuelo, algunas con la habilidad mártir para potenciar las cartas más fuerte que poseía. Si atacaban con oportunista eliminarían las cartas más débiles primero, si había unidades con sneak derrotarían a la última unidad y la siguiente Quilliun ganaría poder y poseía la habilidad espinas que les devolvería daño.
Al final la batalla se desarrolló con el ataque de dos unidades oportunistas del oponente contra los señuelos, mientras Quora y Quilliun iban derrotando uno por uno al enemigo.
Quilliun gano la habilidad espinas al subir de nivel, esto me permitía dañar a los enemigos cuerpo a cuerpo que lo atacaran.
