The teaching of yesterday was on sin that can be forgiven which is not unto death and the one that cannot be forgiven which isa sin that's unto death reading from 1 JOHN 5 :16 we understand that when one commit a sin that is not unto death when he ask and pray for forgiveness it will be forgiven him and he shall have life but if it be sin that is unto death even if he pray and ask for forgiveness he will not be forgiven the bible said we should put anyone who have committed the sin unto death away from us such people are referred to as wicked people 1 CORINTHIANS 5: 13
When we sin against the son of God our sin can be forgiven but if we sin or speak against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven MATTHEW 12:32 when we speak blasphemy against the Holy Spirit or do the things that doesn't please him the sin won't be forgiven and some of the sins against the Holy Spirit include worshipping of idols PSALM 115:5-8 it is an abomination and a sacrilege to worship another god that is not the living God worshipping what was made by man that can not see or talk or even walk those that worship them are like them bible say said it's a sin against the Holy Spirit and it will not be forgiven also sin of Adultery a married man sleeping with a married woman when the bible says marriage is honourable unto God with bed undefiled ROMAN 2:22 .the greatest sin against the Holy Spirit is BLASPHEMY which is lying or disrespecting the Holy Spirit MARK 3:29 the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit brings condemnation even in the after world and we should abstain from it
Also when we eat food offered to idols or eat blood we are committing a sin that doesn't please the Holy Spirit ACTS 15 :28-29 others sins against the Holy Spirit are Lust of the flesh revelling banquetings 1 PETER 4:3
When we reverence our parents more than God or we bow down or knee down to greet them it's like making them idols worshipping the creation of God instead of the creator himself it is a sin also truth is that we must respect our parents but we should not replace God with them ROMANS 1:25 most times people doesn't know this sin because the gods of the land has blinded their eyes to the truth of the scriptures reason why God said his people are destroyed for lack of knowledge but when we know this things we should put the word of God we have heard in practice and live based on the scriptures of God and the true doctrine of Christ GALATIANS 4 :8
