The lord is good and I am happy to have the opportunity of being among the ones that follows the teachings of Christ. Though I am not perfect, I believe that in Christ I will surely find peace and perfection.
I am glad to be serving a living God and I am also happy that I am not into idol worshipping but I serve a true God, a living God who is seated on his throne and over seeing everything.
Today, I received blessings through he message taught by Bro Eli in the mass indoctrination. I am filled with joy and excitement to have received these blessings and learnt the teachings of Jesus.
I learnt quite a lot from todays session which are as follows.
Man is mightier than cow. Even fierce cows, lions and other animals can be tamed by man
James 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
We are the top and superior to every other animals. As such, we should not worship them.
We should not change the truth of God into a lie, we should always stick to the word of God and not worship the creation. Instead, we should worship the creator.
Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
The church of God is better than any other place.
We should love ourselves, do good and flee from that which is evil.
Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
The word that Christ spoke is what will judge us in the last day. However, we should not reject the word of Christ because we will be rejecting Christ himself if we do.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Everyone that is not of Israel is called the gentiles while the Jews are the Israelites.
Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
These are the lessons I was opportune to learn ad I hope to learn more by tomorrow.
