Natural disasters are the works of God. These natural phenomena are not controlled or coordinated by none other apart from God. God is the master of the universe. He is the one who brings these eventualities among us. He is the Almighty God who controls and directs his creations.
Why are we experiencing natural disasters? Natural disasters happen to us as God's judgement upon the world for its unprecedented evil. The world is full of evil from every angle. God inflicts these natural disasters on the earth because of the transgressions of men.
The sons of men have ignored the commandments of the Lord for long. They have chosen their own ways against the way of God. They have refused to worship God but chosen to worship what is not God. Natural disasters are wake up calls for us to know that the Lord is God. The iniquities of the men of this world has gotten to its fullest that is why we have had several natural disasters in recent years.
Let us return to the Lord or God. Let accept His commandments and follow His Word. Let us worship him; and worship Him alone. Let us pray that God should have mercy on our world.
