God does not listen to idol worshippers. God hates idolatry. He said we should not have other gods beside Him. So, God does not listen to people who worship idols.
We should worship the true God. He is the God who created us. He wants us to worship Him. We should not go after other gods. People that worship other gods are not accepted by God.
2 Corinthians 6:15-16 (KJV) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Men should stop worshiping what they make with their own hands. Idols are the works of man's hand. They were created out of their desires. The worship of idols is bad. There is no way an idol worshipper could be accepted by God.
The Bible says that light and darkness cannot go together. God cannot be associated with idols. Idols are not gods. We should not compare God with idols. He is not a god made by man. Idols are gods made by man. Our God cannot associate or share is glory with idols.
