The only time I had the opportunity to fish was when I was about 8 years old and it was a very rewarding experience. I almost caught a trout with a blackberry hahaha.
It was great to see others putting blackberries as hooks on the fishing rods.

No doubt because of that feeling I got, I wouldn't be surprised if someone has a fishing collection, it's pretty cool. I can see the passion you have for this activity

I've caught fish on unusual things like popcorn. I used bait such a chicken, livers, hot dogs, scrimp, blood and a few others. Only fruit I've tried was mulberries (I think) and that wasn't too surprising because there was a tree that hung over the water .
