Hello plant based foodies, wherever you are in the world!

Here @sirenahippie

Happy new year to all! Today we bring you a new edition of this vegan challenge YOUR VEGGIE SHOPPING, an activity that we have created, to learn more about the shopping experience that all of you, dear users, have when supplying food your pantry, either in the markets, in the different commercial establishments or directly in the field, with the producers.

There are certain foods that add great flavor and aroma to our preparations. Perhaps they are not foods that, due to their strong flavor, we can eat directly, but when processed and added to our meals, they give an incredible extra flavor, which raises the level of our recipes. And one of these foods are CAPERS, which are basically the buds of a small bush, which when pickled, concentrate and preserve their great flavor. Therefore, for this new challenge at the beginning of the year 2024; which corresponds to purchase number 23, we want to go shopping with you, but ONLY TO BUY CAPERS. In this post you will not include any other type of food or fruit, only CAPERS; You can buy them in jars or you can buy them in bulk, this is your choice. We also want you to give us advice on purchasing and preserving this food, and also tell us IN WHICH VEGAN RECIPES you use it.
