Happy Monday dear friends of the Plant Power Vegan community, here @sirenahippie. Today we return with a new edition of our traditional curatorship: MEATLESS MONDAY.
Although it is true, almost all the recipes were very good; today, like every Monday, we have chosen six of them, which we consider worthy of mention and recognition; however, in our community's other vegan content curation, VEGAN LOVE TO US, THE BEST OF THE WEEK and THE BEST VEGAN LION, we'll highlight other great 100% vegan recipes.
We started our gastronomic journey with some very traditional and delicious taro cakes. Then we will eat some exquisite and crunchy "tequeños" filled with chocolate. Later we will warm our stomach and our soul with a delicious and spicy white tofu soup with shimeji mushrooms. We continue eating a delicious festive snack, sweet and nutritious, that will make us happy. We continued with another delicious and nutritious dessert, made with oats, chocolate and coconut, an experiment that went very well. And we end our trip with some crunchy and delicious sago and coconut cookies, a great snack. Let's travel the world with this delicious vegan gastronomic route!
This week @anggreklestari shared a delicious recipe with us, full of memories: Some taro cakes with brown sugar and grated coconut topping, a recipe inspired by the memory of her late mother. In a beautiful post, where she even harvests taro from her own garden, she makes this very traditional dessert, which she explains to us with great photos. Let's see this sweet and commemorative recipe!
Sometimes @carisma77 forgets that she has bought certain foods, and this week it happened to her that while checking her refrigerator she found a bar of delicious chocolate, so she decided to make a super recipe with that chocolate. So she decided to give a twist to a very traditional Venezuelan recipe, such as tequeños, which are usually filled with cheese, but she made her own variation, creating a great dessert: Chocolate Tequeños, a finger-licking snack. Let's see this very creative recipe!
There are some ingredients that raise the level of our food, and that is the case of shimeji mushrooms, which are generally a little more expensive, but are delicious. And this week @nurfay decided to buy some of these mushrooms, to prepare an exquisite white tofu soup, very comforting, delicious and spicy, a soup that makes us feel happy. Let's see this super recipe!
This week @mysteriousroad shared a very traditional Indian recipe with us. It is a snack made at the Makar-sankarnti Festival, or Kite Festival. This dessert is called Til ladu and is made from sesame seeds, and it is a snack that gives us a lot of energy, nourishes us and sweetens our palate. Let's see this exquisite traditional recipe!
Eating something sweet does not necessarily have to be harmful to your health, since there are desserts that can be very healthy. And this week @quiubi shared a very practical recipe with us, for a simple, but delicious dessert made from oats, coconut and chocolate, an experiment that turned out great. Let's see this sweet and healthy recipe!
This week @pranwala shared a recipe for some curious and crunchy cookies, made with sago and coconut. These cookies are very traditional from Sri Lanka, and they are delicious for snacks, so she prepares them for her family. We see this crunchy and delicious recipe!
