Este es el 5to libro de la saga de Ángeles y Demonios, en general todos estos libros suelen tener entre 400 y 600 páginas, en este caso este libro tiene 482 páginas según Goodreads, y honestamente no es tanto, hay libros muchos más largos, pero, la razón por la que siempre me doy un tiempo entre libro y libro de Dan Brown es porque en cada página el protagonista (Robert Langdon) te da mucho información, datos de historia, arte y religión que son bien interesantes pero que llevan su tiempo es procesarse, recientemente leí el 3er libro ¨Inferno¨ y sigo procesando todo lo que leí, así que probablemente este quede ya para el año que viene.
Últimamente cada vez que veo algún wrap up o booktag de cualquier Booktober me aparece este libro. Lo único que creo saber del libro es que es sobre una mujer famosa que hace una entrevista y habla sobre sus 7 maridos, de resto no he querido saber más nada porque me gusta leer libros sin esperar nada. Siendo sincera eso poco que sé no me llama mucho la atención pero el libro ha sido tan mencionado estos últimos años que en definitiva será una de mis lecturas para el año que viene.
No tengo idea de que pensar sobre este libro, algunos me dicen que es de lo mejor de Colleen Hoover, otros me dicen que lo odiaron y es un libro terrible, la verdad lo único que sé y de lo que estoy segura es que es un libro que le da a quienes lo leen algo que decir (y en general tiene muy buenas reseñas). Incluso la adaptación cinematográfica ha sido bastante polémica, desde que se estrenó unos me dicen que es buenísima y otros que es una completa basura. En fin ninguno de los libros de Colleen Hoover había llamado tanto mi atención como este y ni siquiera por la trama (porque no estoy ni segura de que es lo que trata) si no por la controversia que ha causado en el mundo lector, aún así no creo que sea el momento adecuado para mi de leerlo, tal vez algún día lo haga pero este año no será, y el siguiente probablemente tampoco.
Bueno... Como he mencionado anteriormente no soy muy de indagar en las historias de los libros porque prefiero sorprenderme PERO aquí algo que si sé bastante bien es que hay una pareja que no debe estar junta (de ahí el titulo del libro) y aparentemente a mucha gente le gusta la pareja y los hace tener este conflicto interno sobre lo que esta bien y lo que no, y pues... tengo miedo de que a mi también me llegue a gustar esta pareja ¿Por qué es un amor prohibido? honestamente no tengo idea pero se me ocurren algunos escenarios.
Este libro lo elegí al azar, no tengo idea de que trata, pero la portada no me gusta, además tomaré esta oportunidad para quejarme de las portadas actualmente, hay muchas que no me gustan, parecen copias unas de otras, todas se ven casi que iguales y casi que todas parecen portadas para libros de Wattpad, a mi eso no me gusta para nada, pienso que las portadas de libros se pueden trabajar de una mejor manera.
Al día de hoy todavía no consigo como leer este libro, y tengo un poco de miedo de que cuando al fin lo encuentre no me encante, me gustan mucho los vídeos de rai, tengo también pendiente el reflejo de la bruja, y no tengo más nada que decir, solo espero leerlos pronto, y que me gusten, tengo un presentimiento de que si será así
Este libro además de ser larguísimo en todas las reseñas dicen que es muy triste, muy duro y que te deja básicamente en depresión, y pues... no estoy segura de estar lista para algo como eso. No quiero sufrir leyendo pero si me llama mucho la atención el saber qué es eso que hace que este libro de sea tan triste pero a la vez tan especial.
La primera vez que ví la portada de este libro tanto la portada en si como el titulo llamaron mucho mi atención, sin embargo toda mi emoción se fue cuando vi que el autor era Adam Silvera... Nada en contra del autor, no sé si bien quien es, jamás he buscado su biografía o algo por el estilo, pero recuero que leí History Is All You Left Me en el 2021 y no me gustó para nada, me desesperó completamente ese libro y siempre he escuchado que Adam tiene un estilo de escritura bastante marcado así que aún cuando la portada y el titulo de este libro me llaman siento que va a ser otra gran decepción.
Leí esta trilogía en el 2016, cuando tenía 14 años, en su momento me encantó, amé a Maxon (fue de mis primeros novios literarios), a América no la amé pero aún así me cayó bastante bien y en general leí los libros bastante rápidos porque fueron muy entretenidos para mi, de hecho, si recuerdo bien, me leí un libro atrás de otro, los leí seguidos, ya después con la heredera y la corona lo arruinaron todo pero yo hago si esos libros no existieran y ya. A veces siento ganas de leer de nuevo esta trilogía pero como era tan joven y había leído muy poco siento que la magia podría desaparecer un poco y por eso no lo he hecho.
Desde hace un tiempo acepté que no soy una persona de sagas ni trilogías, me gustan los libros auto conclusivos. Estos años me he dedicado a no leer sagas ni trilogías nuevas si no más bien a terminar algunas que haya comenzado (Como la saga de Harry Potter). Sin embargo, este trilogía llama mucho mi atención y es que dicen que es una de las mejores. La primera saga de Cazadores de Sombras me gustó bastante, y la leí completa, pero han salido muchos libros y me siento atacada en cantidad por estos libros de Cassandra, aún así puede que el siguiente año le de una oportunidad a esta trilogía, y si lo hago, lo más seguro es que no vuelva a leer más nada del mundo de las sombras después de eso.
John Green es un autor de esos que o lo amas o lo odias, pero aún así yo siento que me encuentro en el medio, no amo todos sus libros, pero tampoco odio ninguno (aunque el teorema de Katherine me pareció muy aburrido, ni lo terminé). Sea como sea, me parece que este es de los mejores libros de John Green y que todo el mundo debería darle una oportunidad, pero eso si, quien lo lea debe saber que tiene que leer entre líneas cuando se trata de John Green, hay quienes tachan sus libros de ¨superficiales¨ pero yo solo veo historias muy bellas y que hacer sentir mucho a algunos de sus lectores, sobre todo de la mitad para adelante (Toda esta parte de ¨DESPUÉS¨) me parece que es genial, da una historia bastante interesante y unas frases e incluso párrafos bastante hermosos y que me gustaría tatuarme. No pienso que sea un libro para todo el mundo (no pienso ni siquiera que existe algún libro así) pero, sin duda le pediría a cualquiera que le de una oportunidad.

Lately every time I see a wrap up or booktag from any Booktober I get this book. The only thing I think I know about the book is that it's about a famous woman who does an interview and talks about her 7 husbands, otherwise I haven't wanted to know anything else because I like to read books without expecting anything. To be honest, the little I know doesn't really catch my attention but the book has been mentioned so much these last few years that it will definitely be one of my reads for next year.
I have no idea what to think about this book, some people tell me it's one of Colleen Hoover's best, others tell me they hated it and it's a terrible book, the truth is the only thing I know and what I'm sure of is that it's a book that gives those who read it something to say (and in general it has very good reviews). Even the film adaptation has been quite controversial, since it was released some people tell me that it's great and others that it's complete garbage. Anyway, none of Colleen Hoover's books had caught my attention as much as this one and not even for the plot (because I'm not even sure what it is about) but for the controversy it has caused in the reading world, even so I don't think it's the right time for me to read it, maybe someday I will, but not this year, and probably not the next one either.
Well... As I mentioned before I'm not much for digging into the stories of books because I prefer to be surprised BUT here something I do know pretty well is that there is a couple that shouldn't be together (hence the title of the book) and apparently a lot of people like the couple and it makes them have this internal conflict about what's right and wrong, and well... I'm afraid that I'll come to like this couple too Why is it a forbidden love I honestly have no idea but I can think of a few scenarios.
I chose this book at random, I have no idea what it's about, but I don't like the cover, besides I will take this opportunity to complain about the covers nowadays, there are many that I don't like, they look like copies of each other, they all look almost the same and they all look like covers for Wattpad books, I don't like that at all, I think that book covers can be worked in a better way.
As of today I still can't figure out how to read this book, and I'm a little afraid that when I finally find it I won't love it, I really like rai's videos, I also have the witch's reflection pending, and I have nothing more to say, I just hope to read them soon, and that I like them, I have a feeling that I will.
This book besides being very long, all the reviews say that it is very sad, very hard and that it leaves you basically in depression, and well... I'm not sure I'm ready for something like that. I don't want to suffer reading it but I am curious to know what it is that makes this book so sad but at the same time so special.
The first time I saw the cover of this book, both the cover itself and the title caught my attention, however all my excitement was gone when I saw that the author was Adam Silvera... Nothing against the author, I don't know if well who he is, I've never looked up his bio or anything like that, but I remember reading History Is All You Left Me back in 2021 and I didn't like it at all, I completely despaired of that book and I've always heard that Adam has a pretty distinct writing style so even when the cover and the title of this book call to me I feel like it's going to be another big disappointment.
I read this trilogy in 2016, when I was 14 years old, at the time I loved it, I loved Maxon (he was one of my first literary boyfriends), America I didn't love but I still liked her quite well and in general I read the books quite fast because they were very entertaining for me, in fact, if I remember well, I read one book after another, I read them in a row, already later with the heiress and the crown they ruined everything but I do if those books didn't exist and that's it. Sometimes I feel like reading this trilogy again but since I was so young and had read very little I feel that the magic could disappear a little bit and that's why I haven't done it.
For some time now I have accepted that I am not a saga or trilogy person, I like self-concluding books. These years I have dedicated myself to not read new sagas or trilogies but rather to finish some that I have started (like the Harry Potter saga). However, this trilogy has caught my attention and they say it is one of the best. I liked the first Shadowhunter saga quite a lot, and I read it all, but many books have come out and I feel attacked in quantity by these Cassandra's books, even so I might give this trilogy a chance next year, and if I do, I will most likely not read anything else from the world of shadows after that.
John Green is one of those authors that you either love him or hate him, but I still feel that I am in the middle, I don't love all his books, but I don't hate any of them either (although I found Katherine's Theorem very boring, I didn't even finish it). Be that as it may, I think this is one of John Green's best books and that everyone should give it a chance, but whoever reads it should know that they have to read between the lines when it comes to John Green, There are those who label his books as ¨superficial¨ but I only see very beautiful stories and that make some of his readers feel a lot, especially from the middle onwards (All this part of ¨DESPUÉS¨) I think it is great, it gives a very interesting story and some sentences and even paragraphs quite beautiful and that I would like to get tattooed. I don't think it's a book for everyone (I don't even think there is such a book) but I would definitely ask anyone to give it a chance.
