Hello, my friends. Today I again take part in Reflection Hunters contest, round #160; created some captures during my yesterday walk that seem fit well, and decided not to put them to the dusty box.
This is my entry for the PhotoFeed Street Photography contest.
Location was a huge playing ground at the park - thats why asphalt had such fancy painted stripes. The contrast of monochrome asphalt, gloomy naked trees with no foliage, grey rainy skies and puddles (this does not look like a spring cityscape, rather like late Fall?..) -- with such bright neon-orange stripes suddenly stopped me and provided me sort of meditation thru the camera's viewfinder.
Later I played with the image in Photoshop a bit, creating monochrome and tinted versions, this is one of them. Which would you prefer better?
Cropped and upside-down.
In this frame you can see how the kid is getting acquainted with water and a surface tension... it is quite possible that the boy played with his own reflection in a pool, maybe even not for the first time.... It's a pure pleasure to get such a cool moment captured!
And this is almost the same location, just 50m away.
Huge pool on the ground appeared where the snow has melted, and combined with the magic hour's lighting created this golden texture - always a pleasure for the eyes to rest.
I made about 220 shots, but the rest were not about reflections, probably its better to send them to another community.
