There will be many shadows in the contest, I know. This is my entry for the contest.
The cost of food in Nigeria is on the high side. As a mother, I have to devise means with which I will combat the inflation. One of the things we do is to acquire food stuffs when they are cheap and preserve them for use when the cost would have increased.
Pepper is one of the food items which we can preserve and keep for use in the future. The fresh pepper from the farms are cheap now.
So, I acquired some and put them under the sun to dry. When it is well dried, I would grind them into powder and preserve it for home use. The pictures below describe my local drying method.
