We had a funny outing early yesterday. My children were having the usual end of year party in their school. I had to suspend going to the shop and follow them to the school so that we could celebrate together.
End-of-year parties are interesting ceremonies which schools organize every year during the close of the third term to celebrate the best performing pupils and students. These parties are usually very exciting. The parents are always happy being part of it (especially those whose children are graduating from one level to another).
I was happy following my kids to their school and they too were happy because mummy has come to graduation. My excitement knew no bounce when my boy was called out as the best performing in his grade. So a joy to see your kid being celebrated as the best among others.
When we came home, the father bought chicken for us to use and prepare something special to celebrate them. Our day was great yesterday as we celebrated the success of our children.
