My family and I spent a short weekend in this beautiful place, I would have liked to have more time to learn more about the beauties that this little corner of Venezuela offers us, but I left with the promise to return soon.

I was very surprised by the buildings that this small city has. It is very well distributed and the organization is impeccable. They have a theater, public library and a museum that is at the height of the big cities.

On the tour, which by the way I was accompanied by 2 of the Hivers that I admire a lot @dayadam and @gaboamc2393, we visited the theater which is currently under renovation and we could not enter, but from the outside you can see a large solid construction with 2 floors and several rooms for rehearsals and presentations.

In my previous post I commented on the visit we made to San Felipe el fuerte, which I invite you to visit, where we were able to see the ruins of the San Felipe of yesterday.

In the public library, we found some old printing presses on display. Seeing these machines and being able to imagine how much paper they were able to print? How many people read that information? That's kind of cool.

I realized that San Felipeños are very proud of their heritage and their history, that's something admirable in this day and age. All over the city they reflect San Felipe el Fuerte in murals and sculptures.

Along the streets you can see very picturesque houses that give the impression of being in a country town, but because of the size and characteristics of the buildings it is a city. That was one of the things I loved about the place.

Downtown shopping area, parks, the cultural area, an acoustic shell, nature friendly areas, are some of the interesting things we can find in this beautiful place in Venezuela. It seemed to me that you can find everything you are looking for, there are even stores of recognized brands.

That mix between traditional and modern of the city can also be seen in the architecture. You can find a house with a traditional facade that may have been built several generations ago, or a modern house with materials such as glass and stone that look like they are new. As for the history of the town and even the ruins of what was the center of San Felipe in 1800, they are protected and preserved. That is what I found admirable.

The museum has a very peculiar structure. The central dome is a metal structure inside covered with glass on the outside that make the entire interior of the museum is illuminated. The walls are made of brick so they do not require covering. I love that rustic style.

Regarding the cultural part, each space is destined for a use. Outside the facility, young people gather for singing rounds and artistic graffiti on the walls. I was able to pass by one of these meetings and we stopped for a few minutes to listen to them.

It was an unforgettable experience to visit and tour San Felipe with my friends from Hive. I hope you are encouraged to stop by and check it out, thanks for supporting my publication. See you next time. Bye!

Chao!
