RE: [ENG/ESP] Santa Rosa Castle: History and Architecture

Hi @taniagonzalez, this castle like many of those built by the Spanish have similarities in design, its location obeyed a specific function to protect the city from possible attacks, the Heroine Luisa Cacéres de Arismendi, lost her baby girl in these dungeons; yet she remained firm in her struggle for independence.

Greetings!

It is very true what you say. In my native country there is a fort with similar characteristics, and in the same way, it was built to defend the bay from the English. I admire the courage of Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi. Thank you @belkyscabrera for taking the time to read and support with such a good comment.
