Love is perhaps the noblest of feelings, and also the object of desire of every human being who seeks affection, attention and respect.

Artists and thinkers have tried in every way to define what love is and how we can perceive love in our lives, and for each of them the feeling is expressed in a very particular way. In this way we have around us a range of descriptions for that feeling we all long for: being loved.

Forms of Love

According to the Oxford dictionary, "love is a strong affection for another person, born of ties of blood or social relationships". In the same dictionary we discovered that "affection is an emotional bond". So love is a strong bond between people.

This strong connection can originate in different ways, in my understanding.

Fatherly love: when we have the opportunity to give life to someone, they will be eternally linked to us by the bond of blood.

Love for others: when we have a lot of respect and care for other people in our social environment, exercising true care and interest in people's well-being.

Romance love: when we meet a person who makes our priorities change to the point where the other person's well-being is more important than our own.

I imagine we could describe other situations where we can perceive the existence of love, but let's limit ourselves to these and delve deeper into a very important issue!

Unconditional love

He is the one who overcomes all obstacles. When the feeling exists and persists, regardless of adversity. When you experience unconditional love, logic and reason no longer make sense. The other person is always first, and occupying this position of absolute priority does not depend at all on what he does.

The other person cannot do anything to change their importance and relevance, it is not up to them to want to be loved, or deserve to be loved! The feeling will persist and advance over any situation, overcoming any obstacle.

I even suppose that we all want to experience a love like that, in the certainty that it is a present love that will persist for eternity!

Conclusion

Anyone who has the opportunity to experience great love will be able to feel how rewarding it is to love and feel loved! This means caring about people and taking actions that demonstrate your commitment to them. Make it clear that they are special people and that they are relevant in your life.

Experiencing unconditional love is not for everyone and when it passes you can hold on to it with all your strength and never let go. This way your life will have the only meaning of doing good for that someone of yours.

Amar talvez seja o mais nobre dos sentimentos, e também o objeto de desejo de todo ser humano que procura por carinho, atenção e respeito.

Artistas e pensadores já tentaram de todas as formas definir o que é amar e como podemos perceber o amor em nossas vidas, sendo que para cada um deles o sentimento se expressa de forma muito particular. Desta forma temos em nossa volta uma gama de descrições para aquele sentimento que todos ansiamos: ser amado.

Formas de Amor

De acordo com o dicionário Oxford, "amor é uma forte afeição por outra pessoa, nascida de laços de consanguinidade ou de relações sociais". No mesmo dicionário descobrimos que "afeição é uma ligação afetiva". Então amor é uma forte ligação entre pessoas.

Essa forte ligação pode ser originada de diversas formas, no meu entendimento.

Amor paternal: quando temos a oportunidade de dar a vida a alguém, que será eternamente ligado a nós pelo laço de sangue.

Amor ao próximo: quando temos muito respeito e cuidado para com outras pessoas do nosso entorno social, exercendo um verdadeiro cuidado e interesse no bem estar das pessoas.

Amor ao próximo através do voluntariado

Amor romance: quando encontramos uma pessoa que faz com que nossas prioridades mudem a ponto de o bem estar do outro ser mais importante do que o nosso próprio.

Eu imagino que poderíamos descrever outras situações onde podemos perceber a existência do amor, mas vamos nos limitar a estas e aprofundar uma questão muito importante!

Amor incondicional

É aquele que supera todos os obstáculos. Quando o sentimento existe e persiste, independente das adversidades. Quando se vive um amor incondicional, a lógica e a razão não fazem mais sentido. O outro é sempre em primeiro lugar, e ocupar essa posição de prioridade absoluta não depende em nada do que ele faça.

O outro não pode fazer nada que mude sua importância e relevância, não depende dele querer ser amado, ou merecer ser amado! O sentimento persistirá e avançará sobre qualquer situação, vencendo qualquer obstáculo.

Chego a supor que todos desejamos viver um amo assim, na certeza de ser um amor presente e que persistente para eternidade!

Conclusão

Quem tiver a oportunidade de viver um grande amor poderá sentir o quanto é gratificante amar e se sentir amado! Isso significa se importar com as pessoas e tomar atitudes que demonstrem seu compromisso com elas. Deixar claro que são pessoas especiais e que são relevantes na sua vida.

Viver um amor incondicional não é para todos e quando ele passar você poderá agarrá-lo com todas as suas forças para nunca mais soltar. Assim sua vida terá como único sentido fazer o bem para aquele seu alguém.
