Hello dear hives and friends of this beautiful community of #dailyblog . I am once again with you to show you today the lagoon "Los Marites", a walk that left us all very surprised.
I tell you that exactly a week ago, my family and I decided to embark on a little adventure to a place that had captured our curiosity and longing for tranquility: the lagoon of the Marites, located in the heart of the municipality of Garcia in the state of Nueva Esparta of this beautiful Margarita Island.
We had been told so much about the place, that we decided to go full of illusion and with the excitement of what we had been told.
The promise of a serene afternoon in contact with nature was all we needed to relax and get in tune with nature.
Hola queridos hives y amigos de esta hermosa comunidad de #dailyblog . Me encuentro una vez más con ustedes para mostrarles en el día de hoy la laguna “Los Marites”, un paseo que nos dejó muy sorprendidos a todos.
Les cuento que hace exactamente una semana, mi familia y yo decidimos emprender una pequeña aventura hacia un lugar que había capturado nuestra curiosidad y anhelo de tranquilidad: la laguna de los Marites, ubicada en el corazón del municipio García en el estado Nueva Esparta de esta bella Isla Margarita.
Tanto nos habían hablado del lugar, que decidimos ir llenos de ilusión y con la emoción de lo que nos habían contado.
La promesa de una tarde serena en contacto con la naturaleza era todo lo que necesitábamos para relajarnos y ponernos en sintonía con la naturaleza.
Upon arrival, the landscape greeted us with an overwhelming calm, where the only predominant sound was the singing of birds and the whispering of the wind. The lagoon stretched out before us like a giant mirror, reflecting the clouds that abounded in those days, contrasting with the intense blue of the sky.
Al llegar, el paisaje nos recibió con una calma abrumadora, donde el único sonido predominante era el canto de las aves y el susurro del viento. La laguna se extendía ante nosotros como un espejo gigante, reflejando las nubes que en esos días abundaban, contrastando con el azul intenso del cielo.
The day was so beautiful that it looked like a great natural painting, perhaps my words fall short with such beauty.
El día estaba tan hermoso que parecía una gran pintura natural, tal vez mis palabras se quedan cortas con tanta belleza.
We walked all along the edge of the lagoon collecting shells of all sizes, we were so excited.
Caminábamos todo el borde de la laguna recogiendo conchas de todos los tamaños, estábamos muy emocionados.
Suddenly, a movement in the sky caught our attention: a group of flamingos came flying towards the lagoon, tinting the air with pink and orange tones. Their wings spread out gracefully and synchronized, offering a spectacle flying close to the water.
Watching them soar above the lagoon was a reminder of the freedom and beauty that inhabits this natural world.
As the flamingos settled into the lagoon the quietness returned, they were just feeding and then as evening fell they would sleep in that natural refuge.
De repente, un movimiento en el cielo captó nuestra atención: un grupo de flamencos venían volando hacia la laguna, tiñendo el aire con tonos rosados y naranjas. Sus alas se extendían elegantes y sincronizadas, ofreciendo un espectáculo volando bien pegados al agua.
Observándolos volar por encima de la laguna fue un recordatorio de la libertad y belleza que habita en este mundo natural.
Mientras los flamencos se fueron acomodando en la laguna la quietud volvió, solo se estaban alimentando para luego mientras cae la tarde dormir en ese refugio natural.

After seeing this spectacular entrance of the flamingos to the lagoon, I began to appreciate the botuto shells a little better, each one telling its own story, molded by time. I picked up a few, admiring their
unique shapes and shades of colors that seemed to be hand-painted, they are very beautiful.
Después de ver esta espectacular entrada de los flamingos a la laguna me puse a apreciar un poco mejor las conchas de botuto, cada una contaba su propia historia, moldeada por el tiempo. Recogí algunas, admirando sus
formas únicas y los matices de colores que parecían pintados a mano, son muy hermosas.
Not far from us, the local fishermen were working with dedication. Their cages were ready to be submerged and catch their lobsters, they only let me take pictures of the wise ones, they don't like pictures very much.
No muy lejos de nosotros, los pescadores del lugar trabajaban con dedicación. Sus jaulas estaban preparadas para ser sumergidas y atrapar sus langostas, solo me dejaron tomarles foto a los sabios, no les gustan mucho las fotografías.
The afternoon advanced slowly, but every minute was a gift. Time seemed to stand still at the Marites Lagoon, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of nature.
La tarde avanzaba lentamente, pero cada minuto era un regalo. El tiempo parecía detenerse en la laguna de los Marites, permitiéndonos apreciar plenamente lo hermoso de la naturaleza.
We decided to return home, before the sun went down much lower so that we could appreciate the scenery.
As we drove away, I took one last look at the lagoon.
Decidimos regresarnos a casa, antes que el sol bajara mucho más para poder apreciar bien todo el paisaje.
Mientras nos alejábamos, eché una última mirada a la laguna.
It was a great ride, an experience that will remain engraved in our minds and hearts forever.
And for that reason I wanted to share this beauty with you, to show through my photographs this natural beauty.
