So, in today's episode, Old Man Chu is at it again, always lending a helping hand. We attempted to squeeze a massive couch into a Dodge Durango, but alas, it was too large and refused to cooperate. Despite confirming with the people that it would fit, we found ourselves in a predicament. The three of us struggled to transport the couch from the apartment down to the truck, only to discover that it wouldn't budge. Desperation set in as Old Man Chu urged us to push it in, but the truck had no space to spare.
Old Man Chu is never short of tasks, and this time was no exception. Despite my best efforts, the couch simply refused to fit. We decided to remove its legs, but even then, it proved to be an arduous task due to its weight. Old Man Chu always finds himself in the midst of something.
Feeling the exhaustion of the day, I expressed my hope that this would be the last time I had to move such bulky items. Fatigue settled in, a reminder that I am no longer the spry young lad I once was. In order to make the couch fit, we had to resort to renting a U-Haul and using a small trolley to maneuver it. I highly recommend U-Haul for such situations.
Despite a minor setback with a broken piece of wood, we managed to fix it, and the couch now resides safely at home. It was a late return, but the mission was accomplished. Here's to hoping that I can retire from these strenuous moving days and embrace the tranquility of my Old Man Chu existence in the new year.
