Es un gusto poder compartir con ustedes este blog, creo que es la primera vez que hablo referente a mi trabajo en esta comunidad, pues debemos mantenernos al margen, bajo perfil, es por eso que la mayoría de las fotos son con foco no amplio para solo mostrar lo necesario.

It is a pleasure to be able to share this blog with you, I think it is the first time that I speak about my work in this community, because we must stay on the sidelines, low profile, that is why most of the photos are with a non-wide focus to only show what is necessary.
Desde hace algunas semanas se nos habían informado que harían un compartir previo a la celebración del día del trabajador, y que era al estilo campestre. Siendo una sorpresa que nos indicaran que debíamos formar equipos de bolas criollas, ya que, nunca lo he jugado, está sería mi primera vez, algo que me tenía algo nerviosa, ya que no me gusta ser el foco de atención en algo. Habiendo dicho esto, se formaron grupos de 4 personas y era obligatorio asistir al evento, ya luego de haber escogido equipo. Así que, me levanté temprano para alistarme, que aparte nos indicaron que debíamos ir en monos y ropa cómoda, y luego de desayunar algo liviano, tomé un autobús que iría directo a la locación.
A few weeks ago we had been informed that they would do a sharing prior to the celebration of Worker's Day, and that it would be country style. It was a surprise that they told us that we should form Creole ball teams, since I have never played it, this would be my first time, something that had me a little nervous, since I don't like being the focus of attention in something. Having said this, groups of 4 people were formed and it was mandatory to attend the event, after having chosen a team. So, I got up early to get ready, and they also told us that we should wear overalls and comfortable clothes, and after having a light breakfast, I took a bus that would go directly to the location.
Una vez estando allá, se nos sirvió un almuerzo que constó de; sopa de pollo para mí, y de costilla para algunos otros, almorzamos como la gran familia que somos, compartiendo anécdotas y conversando al momento de sentarnos a la mesa. De igual forma, también se nos dotó de bebidas y meriendas entre uno y otro juego.
Once there, we were served a lunch that consisted of; chicken soup for me, and ribs for some others. We had lunch like the big family we are, sharing anecdotes and talking as we sat down at the table. Likewise, we were also provided with drinks and snacks between each game.
La verdad, estaba muy nerviosa porque en mis años de bachillerato nunca me gustó jugar deportes, me pone ansiosa ser el punto focal, como ya les comenté, pero como está vez era obligatorio, y además siempre hay una primera vez para todo, manos a la obra. Entre una música y otra, bebidas y las porras de mis compañeras, me relajé tanto que hice un buen trabajo a mi parecer, siendo con mi equipo los ganadores del primer juego, aún así no logramos pasar a la semifinal, pero igual no importa, me la pasé muy bien.
The truth is, I was very nervous because in my high school years I never liked playing sports, it makes me anxious to be the focal point, as I already told you, but since this time it was mandatory, and also there is always a first time for everything, hands on the work. Between one music and another, drinks and the cheers of my teammates, I relaxed so much that I did a good job in my opinion, with my team being the winners of the first game, we still didn't manage to advance to the semifinal, but it doesn't matter anyway, I had a great time.
Transcurrida la tarde, en ocasiones el juego me aburría porque son varias vueltas, pero nada que una buena conversación con amigas pueda hacer del momento más ameno. Luego ya a la noche, se hizo una parrilla, comimos y a las 8 pm aproximadamente, me vine a mi casa ya para descansar.
As the afternoon passed, sometimes the game bored me because there are several rounds, but nothing that a good conversation with friends can make the moment more enjoyable. Then at night, a barbecue was made, we ate and at approximately 8 pm, I came home to rest.
El día sábado es mi día de disfrute, al menos así trato de verlo, luego de pasar de lunes a viernes, ocupada en el trabajo, trato que el sábado sea mi día, más relajado, para compartir con gente que tengo tiempo sin ver, con mi familia o mi pareja y hacer cosas diferentes. Últimamente he puesto en práctica el hacer cosas nuevas, eso me ha llenado mucho, aprender y salir de la rutina es importante para mantener mi mente enfocada en el presente. Saturday is my day of enjoyment, at least that's how I try to see it, after spending Monday to Friday, busy at work, I try to make Saturday my day, more relaxed, to share with people I haven't seen for a while, with my family or my partner and do different things. Lately I have put into practice doing new things, that has been very fulfilling for me, learning and getting out of the routine is important to keep my mind focused on the present.
