My Introductory Post In the Cycling Community

in Cycling8 months ago

Hello there Friends, and thank you for stopping by!

This is my Introductory Post in the Cycling Community, it will not be my last!

So a bit about myself...
Bicycles are in my top 5 passions - honestly! Lifetime I probably have at least a good 40,000 miles on bicycles, and that in a few different places and a few different types - styles.

And as a passion there is a lot of interesting things, pertaining to bikes that I do wish to post here, I am already working on the next!

So, after a history of 20", 26", and 27" bikes I decided that for me the 26" format is the best. The 27"ers are a little spindly and the 20"ers are just too much work, though I do know a scenario where both of these points change.
Anyways...
Here is my main bike (I nhave another..😉) currently and although dusty (from riding) I decided that an entry post is a good place to show some photos!
And.... For the "naysayers" who say "but that's an E-Bike"...😁
It is, and I want you to notice that is says "XB 300LI". Yep it has a 300 watt motor. You cannot buy a bike that is 300 watts today, the lowest is 500 watts. I ride it in "PAS Mode" - "Pedal Assist", yes I have pedaled those miles - just got there faster! Which brings me to another point... This bike is old...
I remember having this bike long (years) before the date of release in the owners manual but it says 2013.. Ha ha ha!
And she has over 4500 miles, as that's where 2024 started!
And all of it on the same battery, and still works today!
So...
This is a front view at the Park,

And this is a back view,

From there I went to another area in the Park,
Another frontal,

And a side view as well,

And a look up the street at it,

And, Wishing You an Amazing
Thursday and thank you again for your visit!
As this is a topic that I am very passionate about you can be sure that I will list a few different things here, maybe rides - maybe bike tech, but it will be pertaining to bikes!

"Have A Very Blessed Thursday"!

Remember "The Father" in ALL THINGS!
He "Remembers You"!
👍🏼😊😇😁😇😊👍🏼

That's one cool bike, it's been ages since I last ride on a bike. Can I successfully maneuver it again if I try, i'm not really sure. I'd live to try again, sad, Mom sold the only bicycle we have, coz no one is using it.

Thank You so very much, and I am sure you can if you try!
It is sad that the bike got sold because no-one was riding it, but it happens. I have seen it myself.
I do hope that you get another one and get out and ride!
It is awesome, especially after you get used to it!

Wishing you an Amazing Thursday!
🙋🏻‍♀️🚴😀

I was waiting for your introduction post for the Cycling Community. Welcome!
That's a really nice bicycle.

And as a passion there is a lot of interesting things, pertaining to bikes that I do wish to post here, I am already working on the next!

There are many cycling related subjects we can blog about. Looking forward to it!

For the "naysayers" who say "but that's an E-Bike"...😁

I'm actually a fan of E-Bikes. It makes cycling more accessible for a lot of people and extends the range people can ride. I know a lot of people that have switched to cycling for commuting because they have an E-Bike now.

Thank You so much, and thank you for the warm welcome, and on the bike as well!
(getting number 2 ready to go in about a week😉).
I was a little hesitant due to the ebike thing, people take it different ways.
My other bike is a pure pedaler, no "e" at all!😅

Thanks again! I will be posting again in the next 2 days I believe.
Have an Amazing Week!
