Riding My Bicycle Daily To School, Reducing Transportation Cost.

in Cycling5 months ago

Hello everyone,

Happy weekend to you all.
Yesterday I took this shot while I was in school, so I decided to share it with you guys. The recent increase in the cost of transportation has really been challenging and also a hurdle on the path to knowledge. Most students who live off campus do find it difficult to pay their way to and fro. For me I never wanted to stay off school especially when I had lectures, so I embraced the humble bicycle as a trusted companion in the journey of education.

As public transportation costs reached new heights, due to the fact that the new elected president came into power and took off fuel subsidy and at the same time we don't have the refineries to convert the crude oil into fuel abs and gas therefore the price of importation has been on the high side and transportation becomes a challenge for everyone using public vehicle. While in the midst of all this I had to sort of an alternative that led me to the realization that a trusty bicycle could offer both financial relief and a sustainable mode of transport.

I had this bike because I normally used it for exercise every Saturday morning, sometimes as a leisure item to make myself productive and busy and now has been an option for me to transport myself daily to school. Yeah, cycling daily to school has really been helpful to me as I no longer spend money on transportation but keep them for more efficient allocation of resources. It may interest you to know that I'm not the only student who Pedals to school daily, other students have also embraced this alternative and it has been really good to see mass adoption and adaptation.

I so glad that I had this bicycle, even when it was just for leisure and exercise, but it has really been a good alternative to transport myself daily to school without thinking of the high cost of transportation.
