Clicking of links on the internet started to scare me since lt became alarming how a lot of people are hack through just clicking some sort of links they thought were the right one.
Speaking of myself, l am very mindful of links, and lf at any point i want to click lt, l will cross check it before I go on and click lt or check who sent the link to me.
Yet, we still need to be careful even on that aspect because that closest person we trust to do things they asked us to, he/her account might get hack and we do not know that, at that moment, an hacker is talking to us, trying to steal some valuable stuffs we own.
Therefore, ln that case, what do we need to do so that we are always at the right side of not falling to hackers?
l think lt ls best we ring the phone of that our closet person first to confirm he was the one really chatting with us at that moment, that's what l do, lf l am ln a conversation with a friend and then see that, he/she ls talking about a thing and l am interested in lt.
l will called the friend phone, and the reason of the called will be to know if he/she was the one telling me about those things and after the call, I will go along and continue the chat we him.
someone told me how he was hacked and the hacker used his account to be getting some money from people, what happened was that he began to see calls from people telling him that they have agree to what he said, but he never had an agreement with someone in some couples of days and was not expecting any.
He was fast to understand that he might be hack, since he was on a travel, he didn't had that much time to be accessing his Tiktok account and try to see lf he can log out the hacker.
Before he gets down to lt, he loose the account and some money he had received as gift on his contents on Tiktok, he said that didn't make him feels bad like when he realized his sister and some of his friends sent money to the hacker thinking lt was him.
Although lt ls not a new thing as we do hear story's of people falling victim of hackers, l think my friend make it so easy for his account to get hacked by the hacker because he didn't had two-way- factor activated on his Tiktok account.
With two-way-factor password you are secured on your social media accounts, because it's an additional password and no one can access your account without lt.
lt ls a great way to stay safe on the online because lt can be connected to our mobile phone number, google authenticator app or others authenticator services, there is none of my social media accounts that i do not get lt activated.
