How Could They
How could the government not be fair to us? How could they not feel the pains we are feeling? How could they ignore our plights? How could they not know that we are suffering? How could they not understand that we and our children are hungry? How could they not know that we would need money to survive in the present inflation? How could they not be able to evaluate the level of our income compared with the present cost of goods? How could they be so insensitive to the suffering of the masses? How could they? How? How!? How!!?
They Grew Among Us
Those who are ruling us are humans. They were born in this world. They did not migrate from another planet. They have grown in our societies. Some of them went to school together with us. They have trodden the streets of our country. They have grown in the same country for many years. Then how could they rule us with no feeling for our pains?
I do understand that some of these guys grew up in other countries. Their parents who were in the corridors of power then sent them abroad to go and school over there while they were busy looting and spoiling the educational system of our country. But how would sane humans be so heartless that they will carry out the kind of corruption we hear about in the oil subsidy history and other government parastatals?
Greed Has Killed The Soul Of Our Nation
Greed has killed the soul of our dear country. It has made us kill one another to make money. It has made our leader amass more than what they need and virtually sold out our country to make wealth. Greed has made us forget the true essence of governance. Our politicians never come with the mind to serve. They have come with deceptions in their hearts; intending to loot our country’s treasury while deceiving us that they intend to serve. Corruption has killed the soul of our nation Nigeria!
We Need A Change
We need a change in the Nigerian system. We need a complete overhaul of the entire political and economical system. We need a new system in place. We need a fresh breed of minds (who are devoid of corruption, greed and selfishness) to man out affairs as a nation.
Nigerians, let us arise with one mind, one spirit, and one voice and cry for a Change, A CHANGE WITHOUT A RETREAT!
