Ups and downs I tell ya,
Last Wednesday I had a rough day, the day before I got both my printer fixed but then later in the evening they both started to mess up on me, the big printer started to mess up the prints and my good printer kept blowing fuses.
Well I was feeling really down especialy since I got more machines to work with, and I felt like why do I do this to my self, give my self all this extra work.
Well I got another printer that arriving on Thursday as well as a resin priner I have yet to try, you can see the resin printer on the floor in the picture below.
The newest printer is in the corner of my desk.
This thing is pretty nice prints very quickly and also with great quality.
below you can see a timelapse of it priting
I printed some parts for my big printer a better part cooler as the one I had kept running into the prints, also I noticed that a part that guides the filament totally worn down and that was causing the issue. so I printed a new one and after relacing he part it started to get some decent quality prints.
Right above is the part that wore down the original is black and the clear/white looking one is a PETG(type of plastic) part I printed.
I also was able to fix my good printer and it seemed to be working great too so now I had 3 printers and all delivering great results, however I ran into some issues.
I was trying to print some sculptures in the cooper fillament using my brand new printer and it started looking great however it did not finish the print and had a clog I tried to do everything I can to unclog but had no luck I will have to replace the nozzle but after that it should be back to prting well.
I figured I try to print the filament with my other good printer I had sucess priting a small piece but after I tried to take out the copper filament it too got clogged, and same stroy could not get it sorted and will have to replace a part to make it work.
Neeedless to say I am done with that copper filament it's too finnaky and also the roll I have is old so it's even worse.
So now I am down to 1 working printer but I am fairly confident I will get them all going again soon and will avoid messing with specialty filaments to avoid this drama in the future.
I will also need to try the resin pritner out however that has it's own challanges but offers increadible detail and quality.
I will also be trying my hand with some silver pours I am just waiting on a few more bit to be delivered.
