Welcome the my latest series Art&3D!
In this series I will be printing art works as well as monuments and the likes, along with some pictures I will also talk about the art and share information about it along with the printing information.
The Art
I thought it was pretty jokes and I heard about it before so when I saw the model I figured it would be a great print.
This art piece is supposed to be Christmas tree made for the Paris International Cotemporary Art Fair by Paul McCarthy it was a 24 meter inflatable sculpture that was fairly controversial and got ruined by a vandal and not repaired, the artist was also assaulted ... I guess folks just can't appreciate a joke. You can learn more about this art installation here

The print
The print was very easy due to the simple geometry of the "tree" it did not need any supports, printed in color changing filament when it's hanging inside you butt for a while it will turn yellow that's when you know you did a good job.
# Contest
I already printed a fair bit of art for this series in the picture below you see 2 of my printers working on another 2 pieces and in the right intentionally blurry corner are more of the art works for this series.
So I printed a model that is my most favorite print to this day and I will be sharing it in the next edition of this series (Next Monday) if you can guess what it is you win 50 Hive! it's a chunky prize but it's not an easy challenge most of the models are from this website below including my favourite that you need to guess to win the prize, good luck!
